Ten Books that have Stayed with You

List 10 books that have stayed with you in some way. Don't take more than a few minutes and don't think too hard — they don't have to be the "right" or "great" works, just the ones that have touched you. Here are mine:

Anne of Green Gables, Lucy Maude Montgomery
The Red Tent by Anita Diamant
Love Walked In by Marissa Marisa de los Santos, Writer
Very Valentine by Adriana Trigiani
The Handmaid’s Tale, Margaret Attwood
Writing Down the Bones by Natalie Goldberg
Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott
Twas the Night Before Christmas
The Fault in our Stars by John Green
Aristotle & Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz

Looking forward to reading your list in the comments!

  1. I've enjoyed scanning these lists for new titles. I keep thinking it would be fun to create a themed set of list:top ten professional books about reading, top ten sci fi titles, top ten life-saving YA titles and the like. I'd have the Atwood, Green abd Saez titles on my lists too. If you enjoyed Atwood, you might also like When She Woke.
