Rainbows

Slice of Life Challenge

(Written Wednesday night)

Today was a long day.
Looooong day...
driving home
stopped at a light
and look at what was
peeking from behind the trees...
Eyes widened,
Breath sped up...
A rainbow, I gasped
Is it really a rainbow?
YES!
A rainbow...
Felt like it was sent
directly from
heaven...
...for
someone special...

Messages of love
from heaven...

Miracles!

  1. I think it was for you! It takes a special person to notice the unexpected things and then to stop and marvel them. Next time I see a rainbow, I will think of it as "message of love from heaven."

  2. These are the moments when you realize that you have to forget what happened at school during the day and go home and enjoy yourself and your family and your house. I'm glad you got the reminder! Most days, we don't get reminders like this!

  3. Whenever I see a rainbow, I stop and take a picture and text it to my friend who lost her husband. We don't see each other much and this is a way I can tell her I am thinking of her. Rainbows are always gifts from God in my book.

  4. There is just something about rainbows that make me stop and smile. They make the day seem brighter. I think this was the same for you - a message of love from heaven. Maybe it was sent by your grandpa. Maybe he knew you were having a bad day and wanted to send you smiles and love!
